AUSTIN, Texas — Summer may still be a few weeks away, but the excitement is already building in Central Texas as local summer camps gear up for the season. Among them is the Apex Summer Kids Camp, which is ready to offer a variety of fun and engaging programs for children.
Representatives from the camp, Christin Braeuer, and Coach Stitch, shared some insights into what families can expect this year.
“Apex Leadership Co is primarily an organization that helps elementary and middle schools raise money through an on-campus student leadership program that lasts for two weeks and culminates in a fitness fundraiser. Like a fun run or an obstacle course,” said Braeuer.
“The apex team has been engaging with students in this way, mentoring, having a meaningful impact with them for almost nine years through the school years. And, they are legends on campus.”
Coach Stitch added, “These kids bring a different energy to anything that they do. And so even on, you know, a day where maybe you’re not at your best, you see them smile, you see them ready, and you’re like, you know that? That’s all to the side. Let’s have some fun. Let’s, you know, make an engagement, make some connections that will last a lifetime.”
With a range of activities designed to entertain and educate, Apex Summer Kids Camp is set to be a highlight for many families in the area.
