South Windsor man arrested for carrying loaded gun during dispute with kids in car

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB) – A man is facing several charges after having a loaded gun in a vehicle during an argument with children present on Thursday night.

According to the South Windsor Police Department, at around 9:37 p.m. officers were conducting a domestic investigation.

Officials said 42-year-old Marco S. Tocel of South Windsor was having an argument with the victim.

Police concluded that he had a loaded gun in his front pocket while he was in the car.

Then, placed it on the front seat where two children were present.

He is now facing the following charges:

  • Carrying pistol without a permit
  • Illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle
  • Risk of injury to a child (2 counts)

He was held on a $100,00 bond.

Tocel is expected to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Friday morning.
