
BROCKTON – There is no better feeling than getting outside, standing in a line and smelling fresh ingredients from a food truck. Once again, some seasonal food trucks are back on the streets, parked and ready to serve up some tasty dishes and share some new menu items.
There are several food trucks in the Brockton area that are open right now or will be announcing their spring opening very soon. The Enterprise has gathered a list of food trucks close to Brockton. From Taunton to Bridgewater to Lakeville, there are many food trucks in the area to satisfy any craving.
Can’t decide what you want when you go up to order, no problem. Khalil’s Kitchen food truck, located at 264 Broadway St. in Taunton, has lots of options to choose from. The food truck is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
You can get $2 tacos every Tuesday according to the food truck’s social media. The food truck menu includes loaded fries, chopped cheese sandwiches and of course, tacos. They also cater for events.
Rudy Alves is the owner of the truck and posts funny videos online of customers bringing their own food and Alves putting a spin on it. Alves has also collaborated with other food businesses at the truck. Recently, the food truck posted their loaded fries collaboration with Eric’s Kitchen, a food entrepreneur in Massachusetts.

This soul food truck has been operating in Taunton for more than three years. Bob Cat’s food truck motto is “food for the soul.” And their motto lives up to that. Located at 255 Cape Highway in Taunton, this food truck serves comfort food and tacos. Whether you’re in the mood for mac and cheese, loaded fries, burgers, tacos, or chicken tenders this food truck has you covered.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Order at the food truck location or online through the food delivery app DoorDash. They are closed during the holidays. Bob Cat’s also caters for events.
If you need certain food accommodations Flavr can help you out. The food truck even has gluten-free options. Located at 314 Bay St. in Taunton this food truck has several American food menu items. Some of the menu items include loaded fries, smashed burgers, chicken tenders, and specials that include cheesesteaks and tacos. Recently, on the food truck’s Instagram account, they posted a new burger, a bourbon whisky smash burger with cheddar cheese, garlic aioli and crispy fried onions. This food truck also caters for events. Prices range from $4 to $16. They are open Wednesday to Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
4. South Shore Smoke House in Bridgewater
You can’t get this food at a certain time or date. South Shore Smoke House food truck will let you know when they’re open or when they’re coming to your neighborhood. Their food truck is parked at 2107 Old Plymouth St. in Bridgewater where their sit-down restaurant is located. But it’s the food truck that has that BBQ fixings you might be looking for.
Some of the food truck menu items include, pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket, fried chicken, mac and cheese, fries and flavored chicken tenders. Prices range from $3 to $17. A schedule for the food truck this year has not been released yet.
If you’re trying to get your hands on a viral TikTok dessert, Sweat Kneads Bake Truck can help. Currently, Sweat Kneads has the trending Dubai chocolate bars people have been posting about online. Located at 60 Hale Street in Bridgewater this food truck has been open for almost a year.
They business lets customers know when they’re open by posting online. This week’s hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to noon and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Besides the Dubai chocolate bars, they also have strawberry cups, cookies, ice cream, milkshakes, and for something savory a donut breakfast sandwich. Purchase food at the truck or online through DoorDash or GrubHub.
One man in a truck who loves Scooby Doo. Augie’s food truck is owned by Austin Bickford and is designed like the Mystery Machine in Scooby Doo. Bickford even has a Scooby Doo apron he wears when making the food. Just like in the TV show, this food truck has all of the TV characters, Shaggy and Scooby Doo’s favorite snacks.
Located at 13 Harding St. in Lakeville this food truck is open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
Items include, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, burritos, fries, hotdogs, desserts and lots more. Augie’s also caters for events.
