Sichuan food is more than heat at Old Chengdu Cafe in Syracuse (Dining Out Review)

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse doesn’t have a Chinatown, but if it did, it would be in the southeastern quadrant of the city, ranging from University Hill to the DeWitt border, an area home to several regional Chinese restaurants serving dishes likely found nowhere else in Central New York.

Among them is Old Chengdu Cafe, a squat brick building with only a few tables in its dining room and an expansive menu of Sichuan and other Chinese dishes.
