A gathering of video game enthusiasts revved up their virtual engines from March 11-14 in a four-day tournament centered around the game Super Mario Kart. Players from over eight different countries huddled around 12 old-school CRT TVs in a private school auditorium to compete for fame in the online leaderboards.
