KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Aramark steps up to the plate and takes a swing at some new options for baseball lovers planning to head to Kauffman Stadium in a matter of weeks.
The company is responsible for some of
the food and beverage options served at the ballpark.
The new options may have baseball fans wishing for the baseball season to open even earlier than scheduled.

Here are the new Aramark options at Kauffman Stadium:
Z Man Sandwich
- Slow-smoked beef brisket, smoked provolone, topped with two crispy onion rings on a toasted kaiser roll.
- Location: Joe’s KC Bar-B-Que, Section 251
Sluggerrr Dog
- Chorizo topped with Manchego, tempura batter, Doritos Cool Ranch crust, avocado aioli
- Location: Craft and Draft
Blue Velvet Whoopie Pies
- Blue Velvet Cakes and vanilla fluff
- Location: Rivals Sports Bar
Aramark also plans to roll out some new souvenir options just in time for Opening Day.
They include:
- Fastball Souvenir Cups
- The baseball-shaped cup is designed to hold frozen cocktails or cold beverages.
- Comes with the Royals logo on it.
- Beverage Bat
- Available in 16-ounce and 24-ounce sizes
- Order beer, cocktails, frozen drinks, sodas
- Available in 16-ounce and 24-ounce sizes
Opening Day is March 27. The Royals will host the Cleveland Guardians at Kauffman Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 p.m.
