Food drive to honor Lucia Bremer nearly 4 years after her death

HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – Feed More is hosting a food drive to honor the life of 13-year-old Lucia Bremer nearly four years after her death.

In March 2021, Lucia was shot and killed while walking with a friend in the Gayton Forest West neighborhood in Henrico.

The food drive will be held on Saturday at Canterbury Recreation, where Lucia volunteered.

Organizers say in the last three years, the food drive has raised more than $15,000 for FeedMore and collected nearly 10,000 pounds of food.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
