GOSHEN- Orange County has been recognized for the 29th consecutive year by the Government Finance Officers Association with a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting. The distinction specifically acknowledged the county’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023.
“This continued recognition is a testament to the exceptional work and dedication of our Department of Finance team,” said Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus. “For 29 years, the County has upheld the highest standards of financial reporting, and this award affirms the hard work and professionalism of our staff. I am incredibly proud of their consistent excellence, and I look forward to the continued success of our County’s fiscal management.”
