Nevada City finance adjustments at mid-year include positive balance and safety nets

Several factors have contributed to the healthy budget for the City of Nevada City, and original estimates of revenue and expenditures resulted in a positive balance, Brittnie Neundorfer, Finance Supervisor for Nevada City told the city council and the public during their recent meeting.

The net positive effect on the general fund is $271,000, with special revenue funds increasing by $1.5 million from grants and other revenue sources presented by Neundorfer.
