KINGSTON — A studio for yoga, dance, gymnastics and martial arts, along with a separate fast food restaurant with a drive through, is planned for the prominent intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Pierce Street in Kingston.
395 Wyoming Ave. Inc. seeks to develop the intersection for a commercial development at 395 Wyoming Ave.
The location is an iconic landmark in Kingston, where a historic house and a large willow tree once stood.
The company seeks a special exemption to develop a commercial property on site with two separate buildings, the studio and the drive through restaurant.
395 Wyoming Ave. Inc. seeks a highway occupancy permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The drive through would be accessed off Pierce Street, which is a local road.
The Kingston Zoning Hearing Board will hear the case at a meeting on March 19 at 7 p.m.
Kingston’s legal notice says the 395 Wyoming Avenue, Inc. is represented by Douglas Barbacci,.
The company is seeking a special exception to develop a commercially-zoned lot with two nonresidential structures and uses, one of which would be a “drive through facility.”
It’s not immediately clear when construction would start because the operation is dependent on zoning.
Efforts to reach 395 Wyoming Ave. Inc. were not immediately successful.
The studio would be be a two-story building and the fast food restaurant would would a separate building.
