MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The 36th Annual Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show is Thursday through Saturday at the Old Myrtle Square Mall.
March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, and Steve Kovalski, a board member with the National MS Society, spoke at the Run to the Sun event on Thursday.
Run to the Sun has been a partner with the MS Society for many years. The society is hosting a silent auction through the event. All money and all items donated go directly to the MS Society.

Over $10,000 has been raised through the Run to the Sun event in past years for MS research.
ABC15 spoke with Kovalski at the event to see how it makes him feel to interact with attendees and educate them on MS.
“It’s amazing, and it’s probably one of the most rewarding parts of my life,” said Kovalski.
