
Pending inclement weather has forced the JXN Food & Wine Festival to move its main event Saturday to an different venue. The festival will now be held inside the Jackson Convention Complex instead of outdoors on the grounds of the Mississippi Museum of Art. In a social media post, organizers said safety and enjoyment is the top priority for those attending the event. The JXN Food & Wine Festival expanded to two days this year and will be held on Friday and Saturday. Those in attendance will get to experience food and drinks from the south’s top chefs, winemakers, and mixologists. The festival celebrates the vibrant food scene in Jackson and will feature local chefs including Jackson’s own, Chef Nick Wallace of Hen and Egg, Chef Hunter Evans of Elvie’s and Mayflower and Geno Lee of Big Apple Inn. Chefs from across Mississippi and other parts of the country will also participate. The events require a ticket.
