Salvation Army opens registration for kids’ spring break camp offering fun and enrichment

The Salvation Army has opened up registration for their spring break camp, offering kids a safe, fun and enriching way to spend their school break.

“At The Salvation Army, we want to provide children with opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun in a supportive environment,” said Captain Joshua Davis in a prepared statement. “Our Spring Break Camp is a great way for kids to make new friends and develop new skills.”

According to the organizers, kids will have fun participating in a variety of activities throughout the week including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures and team-building exercises, all led by trained staff and volunteers

Parents and kids who are interested in learning more about the program are invited to a special Easter Egg Hunt Open House on March 29.

This free community event will include an Easter egg hunt, games, and an opportunity for families to meet camp staff and explore what the camp has to offer ahead of time.

Registration for the camp is now open, however spots are limited, and parents and guardians are advised to sign up early to secure a spot for their child.

The camp will run from April 14 to 18 at 2135 Ashley River Road in Charleston.
