WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Madeline Eubanks has started as the new development director at the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank. The development director is responsible for community engagement and fundraising efforts.
Before joining the nonprofit, Eubanks worked as an educator and an at-risk coordinator at WFISD.
Eubanks said she is excited to strengthen community connections with the food bank.
“We’re building that bridge from fundraising to philanthropy, building that love of our community and wanting people to be clued into what the needs of our community are—spreading that awareness so that we all want to support one another, love one another, and uplift each other,” Eubanks said.
Eubanks attributes her understanding of those in need to stories her grandmother told her about the Great Depression.
“My grandmother experienced hunger during the Great Depression, and I always heard stories of that. So I see the amazing impact that the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank is making in our community,” Eubanks said.
The food bank is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
