After spending the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Washington Commanders, 30-year-old Jonathan Allen is moving on to the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Allen, a two-time Pro Bowler, played just eight games last season after suffering a partially tear of his left pectoral muscle. In 109 career games, Allen has recorded 42 sacks an 401 total tackles, including 60 for a los.
After being unable to find a trade partner after receiving permission from the Commanders, Washington released the veteran defensive tackle last week.
