BROCKTON – Nearly 20% of residents of Massachusetts claim Irish heritage, so get ready to see lots of Irish culture this St. Patrick’s Day in the Bay State.

To get in the spirit, some restaurants have seasonal Irish drinks or corned beef and cabbage on the menu this month. You don’t need to travel to Boston this year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Brockton is also celebrating the green holiday this month. Here are three places you can go to right now.

1. Tommy Doyle’s Pub and Grill Sidelines

This bar and grill, located on 235 E. Ashland St., has multiple Irish drink specials this season all March long and one Irish dessert. Tommy Doyle’s Pub and Grill Sidelines is open from Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and open on Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. Drink special prices are not listed.

Alcoholic Drinks

  • Irish Punch: Jameson, Peach Schnapps, pineapple juice and Sprite
  • Midori Cosmo: Absolute Citron, Midori and white cranberry juice
  • Fuzzy Leprechaun: vodka, Blue Curacao, Peach Schnapps, orange and pineapple juice

2. The Fuel House in Brockton

The Fuel House in Brockton is a restaurant that serves energy drinks, including tea, shakes and iced lattes, located in Michael’s Plaza. They have a new menu of drinks available until the end of March. Fuel House is open from Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon. Prices are not listed online.

3. My Three Sons Family Diner

This classic diner, located at 1050 Pearl St., has all the fixins, from omelets, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches and lots more. My Three Sons Diner has been in Brockton for two years. They do dine in, take out, drive-thru, and also have a catering option. There are two Irish dishes on the menu for breakfast. The diner is open from Monday to Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
