LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) – With prom season just weeks away, thousands of high school students are in the market for the big event. But for some, the time-honored tradition can be cost-prohibitive. That’s where Prom Boutique comes in.
The Prom Boutique at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church is celebrating its 20th year outfitting students across the metro needing a hand-up for the big night.
Free of charge, high school girls and boys can find hundreds of tuxedoes, dresses sizes 0 – 28, shapewear, jewelry, handbags, shoes, accessories – any and everything needed to shine.
And for those who find the perfect outfit that needs a little alteration, seamstresses volunteering their time are on-site to measure and tailor the perfect fit.
2025 Prom Boutique dates and information:
- Wed. March 12th, 1 – 7 p.m.
- Thu. March 13th, Closed
- Fri. March 14th, 1 – 7 p.m.
- Sat. March 15th, 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
Woods Chapel is in particular need for dresses size 16 and up, but any formal wear is appreciated. To learn more about donations, click here.
