CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A Northern Kentucky man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing children in the Philippines and creating child pornography.
Federal officials said Robert Maxwell Werner, from Walton, was living in the Philippines and paid to gain access to dozens of young victims.
Court documents revealed that Werner sexually abused victims who were living in desperate circumstances, offering them food and basic needs in exchange.
Werner was sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty.
