Fitchburg police seek whereabouts of mother and 5 kids

FITCHBURG — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a mother and her five children.

Shortly after noon Thursday, Fitchburg police posted on social media that Ruth Encarnacion and her children were considered to be missing persons.

They were believed to be in a black 2018 Infiniti QX60 in the company of a man named Isael Rivera, according to the posting. The children, each with the surname Rivera, are ages 9 months to 10 years.
