
ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell student-athletes will be hosting their annual Cornell Women in Sports Day on Sunday, March 9th. An exciting day of sports, fun, and empowerment! Any kids up to middle school age from the Cornell and surrounding Ithaca communities will have the chance to dive into a variety of sports in a supportive and energetic environment. This event is all about trying new activities, building confidence, and having a blast with friends. The event focuses on ages 4-12, but all are welcome.
Cornell Women in Sports Day
This Sunday, March 9th
Indoor activities in the Ramin Room, Bartels Hall, from 10am-12pm
Cheer on the Big Red Women’s Lacrosse team vs Stanford at noon!
Pre-registration is encouraged! Parents/guardians are asked to please fill out a participation waiver and bring it with you or we will have copies at the door! Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and are encouraged to attend the women’s lacrosse game vs Stanford (12pm start time – free of charge). Snacks and Big Red promotional items will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Who: Activities designed for ages 4-12; Hosted by Cornell Red Key Society – Cornell’s Student-Athlete Honor Society – committed to academic achievement, fellowship among all Cornell athletes, and the enhancement of the Ithaca region through community service, with support from WOCA, Women of Color – Athletics

When: Sunday, March 9th – 10:00am-12:00pm. Then cheer on Women’s Lacrosse vs Stanford at Schoellkopf Stadium at noon!
Where: Cornell University, Bartels Hall (554 Campus Road), Ramin Room – building located across from the parking lot behind the Crescent (football stadium stands); parking is available in the C-lot and free of charge
