COLUMBUS, Ohio — The annual auto show that was set to take place this month at the Greater Columbus Convention Center has been canceled.
The Columbus Automobile Dealers Association made the announcement on the Columbus Auto Show website, citing “headwinds in the auto industry” as having an impact on the event. It was set to take place March 13-16.
“The Columbus Auto Show & Charity Gala has been a highlight of the business year for Ohio automobile dealers for many years. It is with great regret that the Columbus Automobile Dealers Association made the difficult decision not to proceed with a 2025 show,” the statement read in part.
The event typically features the newest models from more than 30 manufacturers, including Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and many others.
“Across the country and internationally, headwinds in the auto industry are having an impact on these types of events. We’re working to address these challenges, and are committed to see the return of the show in future years,” the statement continued.
Organizers say they will be maintaining the charitable portion of the event. According to the website, the event has raised more than $2 million in years past to benefit local charities.
The association says they are exploring “new and creative opportunities for events that provide consumers and auto enthusiasts the opportunity to learn and engage with auto manufacturers and dealers.”
