Interfaith Food Ministry Announces Move of March Matching Campaign to May

Grass Valley, CA — Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) is excited to announce that it will be moving its highly anticipated March Matching Campaign to the month of May. This shift, designed to align with community giving opportunities and maximize the impact of donations, will help IFM continue to provide vital support to those facing food insecurity in our community.

“Your unwavering generosity has made all the difference in our mission to ensure that no one goes hungry. We are so grateful for your continued support,” said Victoria Lindsay, Marketing & Communications Manager of IFM. “The new timing of our Matching Campaign in May will allow us to take full advantage of fundraising momentum, ensuring that every dollar you donate works even harder to help those in need.”

This decision comes at a time when IFM is facing significant challenges, including fundraising difficulties, supply chain disruptions, the ongoing effects of bird flu, and a substantial increase in community demand for assistance. The need has never been greater, making your support more crucial than ever.

During the month of May, all donations made to IFM will be matched, doubling the impact of every gift. Whether you are an individual donor, a business, or a community leader, your contributions will help provide nourishment, hope, and a brighter future for many families in need.

Become a BIG Matcher: IFM is also inviting supporters to become BIG Matchers, with those making donations of $5,000 or more playing a pivotal role in this campaign. Businesses and individuals interested in this partner opportunity are encouraged to contact Victoria Lindsay at [email protected] or 530-278-8454.

For those who have already made donations earmarked for March, please rest assured that these contributions will be designated for May and remain part of the Matching Campaign.

More details will be shared as we approach May, and IFM encourages all community members to mark their calendars and stay tuned for additional ways to participate.

“We couldn’t do this without the strength and compassion of our IFM family. Thank you for standing with us as we continue to work toward a future where no one feels the hurt of hunger,” added Lindsay.
