PONTIAC, MI — Kelli Bryant, the woman accused of abandoning her three children for nearly five years appeared in court Tuesday for a preliminary examination. Bryant, 34, only spoke to confirm her name during the proceedings, while her attorney, Cecilia Quirindongo pressed Judge Cynthia Thomas Walker on a pair of requests related to the case.
During the proceedings, Quirindongo asked for a gag order to be imposed in the matter. Quirindongo accused the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office of sharing confidential case information. Quirindongo said she had to sign a protective order in order to receive information that was released to the public.
