COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — COLUMBUS, Ohio — Car enthusiasts will have to wait until 2026 to attend the annual Columbus Auto Show & Charity Gala. The Columbus Automobile Dealers Association announced the postponement of the 2025 show in a statement on their website.
“The Columbus Auto Show & Charity Gala has been a highlight of the business year for Ohio automobile dealers for many years. It is with great regret that the Columbus Automobile Dealers Association made the difficult decision not to proceed with a 2025 show,” the statement said.
The association emphasized its commitment to the charitable aspect of the event, noting that the pause provides an opportunity to focus more on this effort. “This year provides us with the opportunity and flexibility to increase focus on this important effort, which in years past has raised more than $2,000,000 to benefit countless local charities,” the statement said.
The decision comes amid challenges facing the auto industry both nationally and internationally.
“Across the country and internationally, headwinds in the auto industry are having an impact on these types of events. We’re working to address these challenges, and are committed to see the return of the show in future years,” the statement said.
In the meantime, the association is exploring new and creative opportunities for events that allow consumers and auto enthusiasts to engage with auto manufacturers and dealers.
