The Commemorative Air Force Bayou State Escadrille and Golden Oldies Motor Club of Louisiana will be putting on a plane and car show at Hammond Northshore Regional Airport on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If rain preempts the show, it will be postponed to April 26.
A flyer from Bayou State Escadrille says the show will feature high fliers and low cruisers, airplane rides, a fly-in, helicopter rides, static displays, food trucks and music.
Car and plane show entries are $15 for pre-registration and $20 the day of the event. There will be awards for best paint, best interior, best overall and furthest drive.
Airplane static parking will be free, located on the east side of the airport on Industrial Drive.
Spectator tickets are $5 each, with free entry for children under 12.
No alcohol will be allowed at the event.
