Being the inaugural event for the new Might and Mastery Season in Pokémon GO, Powerful Potential comes with several Research Tasks that players can work on, from free missions to ones only available via a paid ticket.

All Pokémon GO Powerful Potential Timed Research Tasks

This Timed Research is available for free upon logging into the game and needs to be finished by March 10, 2025, at 8pm local time, to claim all of its rewards.

All Pokémon GO Powerful Potential Field Research Tasks

Field Research Tasks associated with a specific event can be obtained by spinning PokéStops as the event is happening. Once obtained, you won’t have any time pressure in completing the missions and can do so whenever you want.

Special Research Tasks do not have a time limit for completion once you’ve obtained them, though you’ll need to log in before Powerful Potential ends to do so in the first place. In this particular event, you additionally need to buy a ticket for $8 USD or your regional equivalent.

All Pokémon GO Might and Mastery Special Research Tasks

In addition to the paid Special Research for Powerful Potential, the event also marks the start of the seasonal Special Research for the Might and Mastery Season. You get access to this series of tasks for free by logging in between now and June 3, 2025, at 9:59am local time.

Only two of five steps are available at the moment and the remainder will be revealed as the season progresses.
