Split Fiction:

Starting off the month is a game meant for 2. Split Fiction is the latest split-screen adventure from the innovative folks over at Hazelight studios. If you’ve played one of their games, like breakout hit It Takes Two, then you know their stories are character focused. Split Fiction is no different, pulling you into the worlds of Mio and Zio, aspiring authors who are vastly different kinds of people. The two get tricked with the promise of a publishing deal only to end up beamed TRON style into a simulated world made from their stories. Featuring a crazy amount of variety Split Fiction will jump from high-octane sci-fi to high-fantasy worlds with gameplay also getting a ton of variation. While Split Fiction does REQUIRE 2 players either locally or online, Hazelight is once again being the good guys with their friend pass, meaning only one of the two players has to actually own the game. Grab a friend and escape a reality of your own making when Split Fiction launches March 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.

33 Immortals:

From a game made for 2 to one made for 33. You heard that right, 33 Immortals is an action rogue-like co-op game where you team up with 32 other players as a banished soul rebelling against your God’s Final Judgement. Raid, loot, and battle against formidable monstrosities as you make your way to the realm of the deity. Cooperation is key here and like a fully staffed Chilli’s it’s going to take all of you to make surviving the hordes of enemies possible. But overcome these odds and defeat God’s will for a shot at eternal life. Get your 32 closest friends ready for eternal strife when 33 Immortals launches into early access March 18th on Xbox Series S|X and PC.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows:

Since Assassin’s Creed first started us down the journey of the secret war being fought by the Assassin’s and Templar way back in 2006, fans have been taken to all kinds of times and locations across the planet. But fans have been clamoring for one particular place and time for years now. Feudal Japan. Well Assassin’s Creed fans or ass heads as your known, your pleads have finally been heard. Assassin’s Creed Shadows sends players to feudal Japan, where a shinobi assassin Naoe has her story intertwined with the legendary African Samurai, Yasuke. Play your way using stealth as Naoe taking advantage of things like lights, sounds and shadows to take down enemies quite as a whisper. Or take the direct path waging strategic sword fights with the elegant and brutal samurai arts of Yasuke. Seasons will change the environment offering new ways to approach missions and secrets. One part Ninja game, one part Samurai game but still an Assassin’s creed game to it’s core. Become one with the shadows when Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches March 20th for PS5, Xbox Series S|X and PC.

Breakout Beyond:

If you had an early gaming console back in the day or spent any amount of time on free games on the App store in 2008 then you remember the joys of block-bursting in Breakout. Atari is flipping the classic on its head to make it more action packed in Breakout Beyond. Gone are those boring normal blocks that explode like a poprock in a tiny little puff, now you can step beyond that into a neon drenched world of lightning fast balls and powerups. Players will rack up endless combos, utilizing every power-up they can find to reach that 72nd level. Did I mention this game is played SIDEWAYS (cheers of approval Air horn) Bounce to infinity and beyond when Breakout Beyond launches Mar. 24th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Like Fallout but European

Atom Fall:

Rounding out the month’s offerings is an all new title from those Nazi killing snipers at Rebellion. An alternate history based on real life events, Atom Fall is a survival adventure game set in England 5 years after the Windscale Nuclear Disaster in Northern England. Inside the quarrantine zone things have gotten weird and nothing is as it seems. Like Fallout but make it blimey. Explore the unique post apocalyptic world, investigating and exploring to uncover the truth of what happened there. Intense brutal combat means you’ll need to stay on your toes if you want to make it out alive. This looks to be a fun step away from their usual stuff and I for one am excited to see what Rebellion has been cooking up in Atom Fall. Grab your cricket bat and some goggles when you head out into the unknown in Atom Fall releasing March 27th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X and PC.
