U.K. Shop Prices Continue to Fall But Food Prices Concern, Report Says

U.K. shop prices continued to decline on year in February, with retailers betting on heavy discounts to grapple with a backdrop of weak consumer demand, an industry report said.

Prices at U.K. stores declined 0.7% on year in February, the same figure recorded the previous month, the report by NielsenIQ and the British Retail Consortium showed Tuesday.
