The Hesperia Recreation and Park District has announced the return of its Kid’s Fishing Clinic at Hesperia Lake.
The clinic, designed for children ages 5 to 14, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the lake, 7500 Arrowhead Lake Road.
Tickets are $25 with a two-fish limit. However, space is limited to the first 100 participants, so register early. Pre-registration is required.
Participants are encouraged to bring a fishing pole and bait as there will be a limited number of loaner poles available.
Three stations will be available for kids to learn the fundamentals of fishing.
To prevent overcrowding, we ask that only one parent/adult accompany the child in the area while fishing.
Participants will receive a goodie bag provided by event sponsors. Families are invited as there will be vendors, food trucks and a raffle.
