Tallahassee State College Cleaver and Cork week concludes with Food and Wine festival

Spirits were high as hundreds gathered Saturday fueled by delicious bites and fine wines as they embarked on the ultimate culinary adventure.

Cleaver and Cork, the weeklong culinary event hosted at by the Tallahassee Sate College foundation concluded with the Food and Wine Festival at the college’s Intramural Fields

“Ooo, should we try that?” one guest said with a wide smile as she made her way from tent to tent with a friend—souvenir plate and wine glass in hand, ready to indulge. This was the question of the day as guests let their tastes guide them throughout the festival.

The day was packed with cooking demonstrations from guest chefs —including Tom Colicchio— and over 60 tasting tents offering an array of flavors from a sweet fruit margarita from Vene Bites to a savory chicken slider from Mimi’s Table.
