SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) – Food Lion is notifying their customers of a recall involving their ground beef that was prepared in-store, according to officials.
Food Lion stated that customer of its store located at 2211 N. New Hope Road in Gastonia that three of their in-store ground beef may contain traces of foreign material.
The recall only affects the ground meat listed below sold at that store.
The affected product was produced on March 1, 2025, after 1 p.m. with a Sell By Date of March 3, 2025.
- 73% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
- 80% Lean Fresh Ground Chuck (All Sizes)
- 93% Lean Fresh Ground Beef (All Sizes)
Customers may return the ground beef to the Food Lion located at 2211 N. New Hope Road for a refund equal to double the purchase price in accordance with Food Lion’s “Double Your Money Back Guarantee.
