31st annual Quad City Auto show rolls into Bend Xpo

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – The annual Quad City Auto Show has rolled into the Bend Xpo for a weekend full of special events and family entertainment.

This year marks the 31st anniversary of the event and event organizers say it’s the largest QC Auto Show with more vehicles than ever.

The Quad City Auto Show will take place on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bend Xpo, 922 Mississippi Parkway, according to event organizers.

Event coordinator Susan Shrader said special events and family entertainment during the show will include over 150 vehicles, 24 manufacturers, specialty cars, and electric vehicles.

“All the dealers and manufacturers bring their best vehicles, so you’re going to see wonderful colors, different vehicles that have a lot of technology that people are looking for, and if you want to shop, this is a great place to shop, because it’s a non-selling show, and you’ll get a lot of information, but no pressure,” Shrader said.

Event organizers remind all that this is a cashless event. Only credit and debit cards will be accepted for ticket purchases, according to the auto show’s website.

Attendees can save $1 on adult tickets by purchasing online. Onsite tickets are $10. Tickets for the 2025 Quad City Regional Auto Show can be purchased, here.

According to a media release from event organizers, the auto show will include the following:

  • Electric vehicle area with latest vehicles plus product specialists to answer all-electric vehicle questions and take a drive in the newest models
  • Brand new race car simulator—first event for this simulator; Bounce House all weekend; police cars with canine and taser demonstrations on Saturday; and the opportunity to explore a semi-truck cab Marine Corps exhibit.
  • Sunday is 101.4 KISS A.M. Family Day from noon to 4 p.m., enjoy Niabi Zoo, Dream Princesses, bounce houses, coloring contests, balloon artists, face painting, Legos, cookies and milk, and therapy dogs.

“We are having the face painters and the balloon artists, but on Sunday in particular, The Niabi Zoo is coming with a demonstration, and we’ll have Lego building for the kids, cookies and milk, coloring contests, all weekend is the bouncy house, and therapy dogs are here all weekend. There is a lot for the kids to do,” Shrader said.

Proceeds from the Auto Show benefit the Iowa-Illinois Regional Auto Show Scholarship Fund. Over $762,000 has been given to 230 college-bound and trade school students to date.
