Rachel Maddow explains the connection between eating a type of rodent called a marmot and contracting the plague, literally. This fact does not appear to have discouraged Donald Trump Jr. from eating marmot anyway. Now Vanity Fair reports that Donald Trump’s pick to be in charge of food safety at the FDA, Kyle Diamantas, is hunting buddies with Trump Junior, though at least he does not appear to be a marmot eater.
