Luna Bar plans spring debut at Ballston Quarter food hall

A new option for fried treats and drinks with East Asian flavors expects to open this spring in the Ballston Quarter food hall.

Luna Bar is planning to open by April at 4238 Wilson Blvd, Marketing Director Matt Hall told ARLnow. The bar is also planning locations in Tyson’s Corner and Rockville, Md.

Drinks will spotlight East Asian flavors

• Yuzu and lychee cocktails join beer, wine and fried snacks on the menu. Taps for cider, porter and IPAs have been installed behind the counter.
• The new bar plans to open near the Dumpling District kiosk with a connected countertop, allowing customers to order refreshments from both establishments.
• The bar hopes to be a spot for happy hours, events and holiday celebrations.

Luna Bar has siblings in the Quarter Market

• It comes from the same team behind local Dumpling District, Tous Les Jours and Kung Fu Tea establishments — all of which have nearby kiosks in the food hall.
• The Luna Hall group also plans to open a Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant, Top Pot, on the mall’s ground floor level sometime this summer.
• Luna Bar will join a couple other options for cocktails in the Quarter, including Whino, Ted’s Bulletin and Bartaco.
