Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has made the eyecatching move of hiring two senior finance partners from its U.S. rival Sullivan & Cromwell in London.
The firm’s European restructuring head Chris Howard and European credit and leveraged finance partner Presley Warner are both set to join Gibson Dunn, according to a person familiar with the move.
The moves, first reported by Global Turnaround, are unusual departures for Sullivan & Cromwell, which rarely sees partner exits in London.
