UPPER MICHIGAN, Mich. (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan is closing out this week’s food distribution with events Thursday in Wilson and Newberry.
The first mobile food pantry is located at the Hannahville Community Center, with food distribution getting underway at 9 a.m. Central time. Unlike most other pantry events, food distribution will be done by families walking up to get their items from volunteers.
The second pantry is at the GCCP Dunlap Center with food distribution there starting at 2 p.m. Eastern time. That pantry is a drive-thru event. Attendees are asked to stay in their vehicle.
Anyone planning on picking food up for a family unable to attend either event should be ready to give the name, address, and household size of any family they’re picking food up for.
