Boise Rescue Mission launches 14th annual community food drive

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Rescue Mission Ministries announced its 14th Annual March to End Hunger Community Food Drive from March 1-31.

The Rescue Mission is hosting a community-wide food drive to unite the community in fighting against hunger. Local businesses, churches, organizations or families can extend a helping hand to struggling men, women and children in three ways:

• The Mission will host a competition, including the items collected during your drive, at the end of March. Participating teams gather donations to creatively engineer a Can Castle creation to win the Golden Can trophy. To compete, “select all” on your March to End Hunger registration. Voting is from April 1-3 on the Mission’s Facebook page.
