Skyblivion, a fan remake of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim engine by TESRenewal, will be released in 2025.
In a recent YouTube stream, the mod’s creators shared a new live gameplay demo and revealed two newly implemented quests, providing a sneak peek at behind the scenes, and answered fans’ questions. They also confirmed that the mod is in the works and slated for launch this year. “Making games takes time, this goes double for a volunteer project the size of a AAA game that took a team of full-time DEVS years to make,” the creators write in the announcement. They also reaffirmed to fans that the project is nearing the final stage: “Regardless, we would like to share today that Skyblivion is in a state where we can promise a 2025 release at the latest.”
