MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The Annual Jewish Food Festival & Treasure Market celebrated its 20th year as people gathered at Temple Beth Or to enjoy a mix of unique and traditional Jewish dishes on Sunday.
Some of the homemade dishes served included brisket, cabbage rolls, kugel, and latkes. Strudel and rugelach were among the favorite desserts, and guests had the option to purchase food to-go.
“At 9 o’clock this morning, we had people lined up down the driveway to come in. And it really does motivate us to continue and to recognize that there are so many people here in the Montgomery community that come out to support this and to fellowship with us,” said Bruce Leiberman, president of Temple Beth Or.
In addition to the food, guests enjoyed live music from artists Miriam Wyman, Susan Youngblood, and Dotan Shvorin.
