Wonder, a food hall and delivery service, is coming to Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel this spring.
Founded in 2018 by entrepreneur Marc Lore — who also owns the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx — Wonder brands itself as “revolutionizing the food industry by creating a curated super app for mealtime.”
The company has 11 New Jersey locations, but currently none in South Jersey. That’s set to change in May when the Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel locations are scheduled to open.

Its website states that it partners with “incredible restaurants across the country. From Phoenix to Atlanta, and D.C. to Los Angeles, we bring you a taste of what the nation has to offer, just around the corner.”
What does Wonder do?
According to a Wonder press release, the company operates a collection of restaurants (under one roof) from some of the world’s most renowned chefs, including Bobby Flay, José Andres, Nancy Silverton and Marcus Samuelsson.
It also features dishes from award-winning eateries from across the country such as Tejas Barbeque, Maydan, Di Fara Pizza and Fred’s Meat & Bread.
Some of the other restaurants they partner with, according to the Wonder website, include: Alanza Pizza, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Royal Greens, Yasas by Michael Symon, Bankside by JJ Johnson, Limesalt, Burger Baby, Bobby Flay Steak, Mr. D’s Fried Chicken, Bellies, Hanu Poke, Detroit Brick Pizza Co., Wing Trip and more.
The food hall and food delivery service allows customers to order from multiple restaurants at once.
The variety of cuisines offered includes pizza, burgers, steak, seafood, fried chicken, salads, bowls, sushi — Mediterranean, Mexican and Italian cuisines, and more.
Wonder to add multiple locations in the Philadelphia area
Wonder, which currently has a location in Quakertown, Pa., announced plans to open multiple more locations in the Philadelphia area as well in the spring or summer of 2025.
These sites are to include King of Prussia, West Chester, Newtown Square, Ardmore, Fishtown, Northeast Philly, South Philly and Rittenhouse.
“From Michelin-star spots to hidden gems, our team of experts select the country’s best version of your favorite cuisines,” Wonder’s website states. “Then our chef partners teach us how to replicate their dishes.
“With Wonder, customers can experience any combination of 25(-plus) different chefs and restaurants together in one order for the first time. Everything is made to order at a Wonder storefront and delivered in under 30 minutes, with seamless order tracking.”
Wonder acquired meal kit company Blue Apron for $103 million in 2023. The company in January also finalized a deal for $650 million to acquire Grubhub, a food order and food delivery platform.
