Adventure Games

Adventure games are designed to keep the player invested and completely involved in the events of the game. From the moment you put the game down, you cannot wait to pick up the controller and continue your adventurous journey. These types of games also typically involve a structured reward and achievement system.

RPGs (Role-playing games)

RPGs allow the player to play “the role” of a character whose game experience can be entirely impacted by the player’s choices throughout. The player can join factions, kill or save certain characters, and choose to befriend or turn against certain characters within the game. These decisions can impact the outcome of storylines and the overall game itself.
