SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Dakota State Trojan basketball teams know their seeds and schedule for the final North Star Athletic Basketball Tournament.
The Dakota State men finished the season 11-16 overall and 4-11 in the North Star and are the sixth seed. They will face head to North Dakota to face third seed Mayville State on Wednesday night at 7 PM. The winner faces heads to Jamestown next Saturday.
The Dakota State women won the North Star conference with a record of 14-1 and are 22-4 overall. That earned them the top seed and a bye into next Saturday’s 7:00 PM semifinal. They will host the winner of Wednesday’s Bellevue-Valley City State game.
Should the Trojans win they would host the North Star title game on Tuesday, March 6th.
Following this season the North Star Athletic Association will dissolve and Dakota State will join the Frontier Conference.
