Chandler Gears Up for First ‘Road to Riches Car Show’ Benefiting Local Financial Stability Program

The City of Chandler and the BAM Foundation will host the first Road to Riches Car Show on April 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event will be held at the Chandler City Hall Parking Garage, 240 S. Washington St., according to the City of Chandler.

A car show featuring vintage and muscle cars will include participation from local community nonprofits, food trucks, and music provided by a live DJ. Registration for car owners is available online at $25 per vehicle or $40 with an event T-shirt. According to Jerome Daniels, founder of the BAM Foundation, proceeds from the event will support the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program, which focuses on financial stability and independence, as reported by the City of Chandler.

Chandler, in collaboration with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle, introduced free financial literacy workshops last fall for public housing youth and Family Self Sufficiency program enrollees. The year-round program aims to help low-income families overcome financial challenges, build wealth, and reduce reliance on public assistance. For more information about the upcoming Road to Riches Car Show related to this initiative, contact Jerome Daniels at 602-768-3394, as stated by the City of Chandler.
