Some changes − big and small − are coming to Cedar Point this summer.
The park announced the additions coming this summer on Saturday as part of its Winter Chill Out tours for amusement park enthusiasts.
The sold-out event raised some $120,000 for the A Kid Again charity that help families with kids facing life-threatening illnesses.
New slides coming to Cedar Point Shores Waterpark
The park announced that two new tube slides are coming to its Cedar Point Shores Waterpark.
The new slides are being added to the former “Crosscurrent” tower in the waterpark.
The slides will feature a multi-colored twisted layout with one having translucent sections that create a lighting effect.
Riders will have to be at least 48 inches tall in bare feet to ride the new slides.

Cedar Point has announced that Famous Dave’s BBQ Restaurant is relocating from the park’s marina to its Castaway Bay indoor waterpark resort.
The move comes after Quaker Steak & Lube closed its longtime restaurant adjacent to the waterpark.
