LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Comanche County Memorial Hospital held a special community event on Feb. 21 to support local chefs.
The hospital held “Food Truck Friday” bright and early at 6 a.m. where several food trucks were on site, providing a variety of warm meals from pancakes to burgers and even some donuts!
One of the truck vendors Ivette Chavez, told us she was happy to be a part of the event.
“We wanted to be known by a lot more people and get out you know in the town of Lawton,” Chavez said. We wanted to let the community meet us and try out the mini pancakes. We wanted to bring something to town that you know no one has come out with and so far it’s been really great and we’ve been doing really good.”
The Event was spread across two locations the hospital itself, and the Business offices off of Lee Boulevard.
