
Each week during the 2024-25 academic year, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its eight institutions for a “Student-Athlete Spotlight” Q & A segment. The segments will be posted every Thursday and individuals are selected by the institution. The WIAC Student-Athlete Spotlights are presented by Culver’s.

Why did you choose UW-Oshkosh?
I loved the atmosphere and energy that the team created and that I would get the opportunity to pursue my major and do the sport that I love at the same time.
What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in?
Athletes in Action and Honors College.
What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
What I enjoy most about competing in the WIAC and being a Division III athlete is the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level, while also being able to focus on academics and pursue my dream career. I love the competitiveness and support from the athletes and teams, as well as the emphasis for the love for our sports which makes the experience special.

I think my greatest sports moment was becoming an All-American for the first time.
What is your favorite thing to do off the court/field with your teammates?
I love going shopping at the mall and spending quality time with my friends.
Who is someone that you look up to?
My Mom, because she works very hard and is an absolute Queen. She has taught me how to be confident in myself and follow my heart.
Do you have any words of advice for younger/upcoming student-athletes?
Work hard, have fun, and soak in every moment you can doing the sport you love because one day you will appreciate it more than you know.
One word that describes you?
Outgoing.
What is your dream job?
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Three things on your “bucket list”?
—Sky diving.
—Ride an elephant.
—Go to Greece.
A non-athletic talent that you have is?
I can do nails and nail art.
Do you have any pre-game/pre-event superstitions or rituals? If so, what are they?
No, I’m not a very superstitious person. I am very go-with-the-flow on meet days. I listen to whatever music I am feeling that day and just vibe.
