Empty Bowls event returns to fight food insecurity in Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County Food Bank’s Empty Bowls event returns to Bethesda-by-the-Sea on Friday.

According to Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB), approximately 173,000 individuals are experiencing food insecurity throughout Palm Beach County.

In response to the growing need, PBCFB is hosting its 12th annual Empty Bowls Palm Beach event, promoting their eat simply, so others may simply eat theme.

In accordance with the theme, more than 20 local chefs from participating restaurants such as The Breakers, Renato’s, Field of Greens, and Buccan will be donating a wide variety of savory, signature soups, accompanied by Old School Bakery’s best bread offering.

With one in nine Palm Beach County residents experiencing hunger, according to PBCFB, every dollar counts!
