Popular Solvay restaurant to be featured on the Food Network

SOLVAY, N.Y. — A popular central New York restaurant is getting national recognition – again.

Eva’s European Sweets in Solvay will be featured on the popular Food Network show Diners, Drive ins and Dives for the second time. Eva’s, which serves a wide array of polish and other European dishes, has been in business for more than 25 years.

In 2013, the Food Network show starring chef Guy Fieri first visited Eva’s. this time, the segment will focus on “unbelievable blueberry pierogies ad melt-in-your-mouth meatballs” according to a preview listing on the Food Network Website.

The show has also featured several other central New York businesses in the past including Pastabilities, Funk ‘n Waffles and Kitty Hoyne’s Irish Pub.
