ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan and its mobile food pantry are working to help stock the shelves of families in need in Escanaba on Wednesday morning.
The pantry is at the Salvation Army at 3001 5th Avenue S. with food distribution starting at 10 a.m. Eastern time. Anyone unable to attend can have a stand-in get food for them but space is limited.
Stand-ins should be prepared to give the name, address, and household size of any family they’re getting food for.
The mobile food pantry is a drive-thru event. Attendees are asked to stay in their car and have enough space in their trunk or backseat for pantry volunteers to place into the vehicle.
