
Beaumont (KFDM/Fox 4) — Inflation is impacting meals served at dinner tables across the country.
Food banks who help families serve those meals are not exempt.
Harvey Zernial, President/CEO of the Southeast Texas Food Bank, says inflation has impacted the non-profit’s programs.
Normally, the food bank spends $600,000-$800,000 a year for food. Now, up to $2.3 million is spent.
